Conception PLUS: Maidens of the Twelve Stars Intoduction:
Conception, originally titled "CONCEPTION 俺の子供を産んでくれ!" in Japanese, is a role-playing video game developed by Spike. It initially launched exclusively for the PlayStation Portable in Japan on April 26, 2012. Later, a remastered version known as Conception Plus: Maidens of the Twelve Stars was released on January 31, 2019, in Japan for the PlayStation 4. This remastered version was made available worldwide on November 5, 2019, for both the PlayStation 4 and Steam platforms.

The series also includes a second game, Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars, which was released for the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS in Japan between 2013 and 2014, with an English version following suit. In 2016, it was further released on the Steam platform.
Gameplay:
The main objective of the game is for players to build relationships with girls from the National Star God Academy, increase their affection for the protagonist, Itsuki, and subsequently create and lead Star Children on dungeon exploration missions to combat Impurities.
It's important to note that Conception is not classified as an "eroge" (erotic game). Instead, the game mechanics involve producing "Star Children" by channeling energy from Itsuki and one of the twelve Star Maidens into a special device. The child's abilities and attributes depend on the combination of parents, resulting in various character classes such as warriors or magic specialists. To create more potent Star Children, Itsuki must deepen his relationships with the twelve maidens. Additionally, the game incorporates elements commonly found in dating simulation games.
Final Words:
The story begins on Itsuki's high school graduation day when he learns that his cousin, Mahiru, is pregnant. Suddenly, a mysterious portal of light appears and transports them to the world of Granvania. In this realm, disruptive entities known as "Impurities" threaten the stability of the stars, causing chaos in Granvania. Itsuki, revealed to be the "God's Gift," is entrusted with the mission of producing "Star Children" to combat the Impurities. Unless this task is completed, he may never find a way back home.
